Your Maturity number denotes desires that germinate when you are young and emerge over time. By age 30-35 the aspects of your maturity number start to manifest and continue to increase in visibility and influence as you age. The better an understanding you develop of yourself, the more visible the aspects of this number become and the more cognizant of them you become. The better you get to know yourself, the more you become aware of all the things that make up your chart. You get a better grasp on what your true goals are in life and how you aim to achieve them. This is the basic definition of maturity. As you get older, you spend much less time spinning your wheels trying to suss things out and far more time chasing aspirations and making things manifest.
Regardless of your current age, your life has a specific purpose and the universe is channeling your life in a specific direction. Your soul had a reason for entering your body, for living the life and having the existence that it does right now. Our Higher Selves make these decisions based on what our souls need to eventually Ascend. But even though our lives exist on a specific line, our free will does play a huge role in whether or not that line remains straight or if it goes off on various tangents. The Maturity Number provides somewhat of a roadmap to make sure that we stay on that straight line: the shortest distance between where we are now and where our lives are headed.
Think back to when you were a child. You had loftier ambitions, didn't you? No one decides at 5 years that they are going to live a mundane, low-profile existence. They dream of being astronauts, professional athletes and prima ballerinas. Most of the time, what we want to “be” when we grow up reflects things that we decide as adults are unattainable and unreachable.
While wisdom and experience are necessary for us to gain healthy perspectives on life, sometimes a side effect of them is that we lose sight of the things we believed as children about ourselves. Not every child is born to be an astronaut, but we need to be careful not to make the effort to convince ourselves that it was a stupid dream later in life. There is a reason why we had those dreams and the Maturity Number can shed some light on it.
To determine you Maturity Number, add your Life Path and Expression Number. Now, either reduce the sum to a single digit or stop if it equals a master number (11 or 22).
